Chiropractic Care
Muscle and back pain are all part of daily living. We were meant to move and use our bodies; sitting for prolonged periods of time decreases flexibility, decreases joint range of motion, and leads to back pain. Chiropractic care will help relieve the pain and will provide flexibility to your body, stretching muscles and making your activities easier and pain free.
Functional Movement Screen
The best way to measure mobility, stability and determining the muscular imbalances that exist in the individual. Everyone benefits from the FMS, the results can be used by any fitness professional to address the muscular imbalances that exist in most people. We, at P.H.I.T. use the FMS to create your Exercise Rx, which will be re-evaluated every six weeks.

Corrective Care Training
Muscular imbalances, poor posture, and inflexibility all contribute to pain and injury. Assessing these problems and using proven strength training strategies, we construct your Exercise Rx. Our knowledge of the body and exercise make for a powerful team.

Metabolic Rate Testing
In the past, accurate measurements have only been available by using cumbersome expensive equipment, and were generally only available at hospitals. Today, we provide the same critical data with just a simple 10 minute breath test at a fraction of the cost.

Personal Training
A personal trainer is a fitness professional involved in implementing an Exercise Rx and are also able to create a fitness plan based on an individual's need. They motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability to clients. Trainers also measure their client's strengths and weaknesses with fitness assessments. These fitness assessments may also be performed before and after an exercise program to measure their client's improvements in physical fitness. They may also educate their clients in many other aspects of wellness other than exercise, including general health and nutrition guidelines. Qualified personal trainers recognize their own areas of expertise. If a trainer suspects that one of his or her clients has a medical condition that could prevent the client from safe participation in an exercise program, they must refer the client to the proper health professional for clearance.
A proper Exercise Rx will yield; improved body composition, physical performance, and heart health.
P.H.I.T. has meticulously sought out the best personal trainers in Houston and is proud to have them at your service.
